Lovely garnet colour with hints of raspberry on the floral nose. Rich red fruit flavours with spice and silky tannins on the finish. Super delicious served slightly chilled on a warm afternoon, and equally enjoyable served at room temperature in front of a cozy log fire on cooler evenings. This wine won a bronze medal at the New Zealand Organic Wine Awards.

Marcy Yoko French loved Pinot Noir. Her favourite was Spurlock Vineyards. Marcy traveled every year from her home in Laguna Beach, California, to visit the grapes (as well as Jeff, Stacey & Ellie) and to learn about the vineyard and winemaking. The global pandemic kept her away in 2021, and sadly she passed away in February 2022 without making her annual pilgrimage. We named our 2022 vintage "Yoko" in her memory, and in thanks for all her love & support.
